What verification means
A map location can come from research, an operator statement, a community report or a documented field inspection. These are different kinds of evidence, and they must not be displayed as interchangeable.
- Source-listed: information appears in a traceable source; current availability may still be unknown.
- Community-reported: a person has reported a detail; it needs appropriate review.
- Operator-confirmed: an authenticated responsible facility operator has provided information. It is not independent inspection.
- Field-inspected: only where an actual dated inspection has been documented.
Information can change
Opening hours, charges, entrance routes, maintenance and access rules can change. Check the last-reviewed date and current venue instructions. When information is missing, ToiletKoi should show “Unknown” rather than assume “Free,” “Open” or “Accessible.”
What you can do
If a facility is closed, charges a different fee or uses another entrance, open its listing and submit a correction where supported. An accepted report does not automatically certify the facility.

একটি শৌচাগারের অবস্থান গবেষণার উৎস, পরিচালনাকারীর বক্তব্য, নাগরিক রিপোর্ট বা নথিভুক্ত সরেজমিন পরিদর্শন থেকে আসতে পারে। এগুলো এক ধরনের প্রমাণ নয়; একইভাবে দেখানো উচিত নয়।
- উৎসে উল্লেখিত: শনাক্তযোগ্য কোনো উৎসে তথ্য রয়েছে; বর্তমান অবস্থা অজানা হতে পারে।
- নাগরিকের রিপোর্ট: কেউ তথ্য দিয়েছেন; উপযুক্ত পর্যালোচনা প্রয়োজন।
- পরিচালনাকারীর নিশ্চিতকরণ: অনুমোদিত পরিচালনাকারী তথ্য দিয়েছেন; এটি স্বাধীন পরিদর্শন নয়।
- সরেজমিন পরিদর্শিত: প্রকৃত তারিখসহ পরিদর্শনের প্রমাণ থাকলেই এই দাবি করা যাবে।
তথ্য বদলাতে পারে
সময়, ভাড়া, প্রবেশপথ, সংস্কার এবং ব্যবহারের শর্ত পরিবর্তিত হতে পারে। শেষ যাচাইয়ের তারিখ এবং স্থানের নিয়ম দেখুন। তথ্য না থাকলে ‘বিনামূল্যে’, ‘খোলা’ বা ‘হুইলচেয়ার উপযোগী’ ধরে না নিয়ে ‘অজানা’ দেখানো উচিত।
আপনি কী করতে পারেন?
শৌচাগার বন্ধ, ভাড়া আলাদা বা প্রবেশপথ ভুল হলে সংশ্লিষ্ট তালিকা থেকে সংশোধন জমা দিন। রিপোর্ট গৃহীত হওয়া মানেই শৌচাগারের পূর্ণাঙ্গ প্রত্যয়ন নয়।
